A Familiar Face Just Made His Return To The WWE

The WWE is looking to grab fans attention in some sort fashion on a daily basis. It’s an ever-changing business that’s trying to keep up with the times but may reach back on occasions. This was the case for this week’s edition of Raw as a familiar face made his return to the program in the opening segment.

Long was last with the WWE in June of 2014 after he was let from his contract. His return was quite rememberable as he tried to make a match on the spot like he used to in old spontaneous Teddy Long fashion when he was the general manager of Smackdown years ago. Although he was ultimately turned away by Stephenie McMahon later in the show, his idea of the Fatal Four Way Tag Team match was put in place at the Money in the Bank Pay-Per-View on June 19 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

It’s unlikely that Long returns in a prominent role but he could possibly be given reoccurring appearances to help spark more interest in Smackdown’s pending move to Tuesday nights. There’s still plenty of mystery about who will take that general manager position for that show. With it being just over a month away, don’t be surprised if more familiar faces to plead their on-air cases for the spot.
