Andre Iguodala’s Comments About Kevin Durant May Surprise You

The Golden State Warriors have just completed a historic feat by becoming just the 10th team in NBA history to overcome a 3-1 playoff series deficit against the Oklahoma City Thunder. This has subsequently put Kevin Durant’s future up in the air. With that in mind, Warriors forward Andre Iguodala had an interesting viewpoint when describing the former league MVP, according to the Mercury News.

“He made some really tough shots, which is what I expected. He’s a fighter and competitor and fought to the end. It must be fun playing with a guy like that. Unless I’m not playing with him.”

What makes this more intriguing is the fact that the Warriors are a possible offseason landing spot for Durant. It would involve a lot of movement in terms of the roster, but the scenario is certainly realistic. This also shows that Durant’s future is something that other NBA players have taken a tab on his pending situation.

Keep in mind, it’s still very early in the process with the free agency period just over a month away. Durant had stated following the Game 7 loss that he hasn’t given any thought to it. All of this sets the table for what could be an interesting offseason.
