Bucks Have Made Up Their Minds On Jason Kidd’s Future…The Decision Will Shock You.

The Milwaukee Bucks were riding high into their second season under Jason Kidd with their promising young and talented team that features Giannis Antetokounmpo, Jabari Parker and Greg Monroe. However, things didn’t pan out in their favor as they fell well short of the playoffs at a 33-49 record. This hasn’t stopped the Bucks’ front office from potentially inking Kidd to an extension, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of the Vertical.

“The Bucks are moving toward a contract extension with Kidd as coach, league sources said.”

Milwaukee in their first season under Kidd saw massive improvement going from one of the bottom dwelling teams in the league to earning the sixth spot in the Eastern Conference last year. The Bucks did massively underperform in the 2015-16 season, but it’s apparent that the organization sees a bright future ahead with Kidd at the helm. It also shows that the front office has a strong belief that he can be the coach that can help further the development of their young core.

Antetokounmpo made major strides in his third season seeing a significant increase in production across the board. In fact, the 21-year-old’s improvement has even earned him the trust from Kidd to make the transition from small forward to the full-time point guard next year. There’s clearly plenty of potential on the roster, it’s just matter of Kidd fulfilling his part by leading them to success.
