Since first donning a Toronto Raptors’ uniform, Kyle Lowry has established himself as one of the better point guards in the NBA. He has taken that up another notch over the last couple of seasons. In light of that, Lowry has broken a prestigious mark in Raptors’ history.

Lowry was already the only player in team history to record 100-plus 3-pointers in five consecutive seasons. He also currently ranks seventh in the NBA for most three-pointers made (804) since joining the Raptors in the 2012-13 season. Lowry is second in the NBA this season for games with at least five three-pointers (13), behind only Stephen Curry (26).

The 30-year-0ld has picked up his level of play over the last 10 games averaging 26.1 points and 7.1 assists with five 30-plus point performances. His continued rise in production alongside DeMar DeRozan has helped make them a perennial playoff team and one of the top teams in the Eastern Conference. If there is any hope of challenging the Cleveland Cavaliers, it will have to come through the play of their backcourt in the playoffs.
