Lakers Fans Are Growing Quite Excited About Latest Rumors



For the last few weeks, the Los Angeles Lakers have been at the center of the rumor mill. Much of this has concerned the potential acquisition of Indiana Pacers’ All-Star forward Paul George. In light of that, The Vertical is reporting that the Lakers are quite confident they can land George when becomes a free agent next summer.

Although George possesses a player option worth $20.7 million for the 2018-19 season, he is expected to decline it. There is much belief that he wants to join his hometown team if he hits the open market. It’s something that has become clearer with each passing week.

That said, the Pacers still hold strong that he will commit to a long-term deal with the team. There will also be other teams such as the Boston Celtics that will pursue him hard through a trade. All in all, it appears that the Lakers are zeroing in on landing George as their next face of the franchise.
