LeBron James Gives His Honest Take About MVP Snub

The NBA on Friday announced the finalist for this year’s NBA MVP award. LeBron James was surprisingly left off the list. In light of that, James had quite a strong reaction to it all.

It marked the first time in nine seasons that James was not named a finalist for the award. In fact, he has won all four of MVP award during that span. In his 14th year in the league, James became just the third player in league history to average at 25.0 points, 8.0 assists, 8.0 rebounds while shooting 50 percent or better from the field in a single season.

He was also the only player in the league to hold those averages while also boasting a field goal percentage higher than 50 percent. That said, his utter dominance in the postseason has shown more than anything that he should have been one of the finalists. Ultimately, James clearly has his eyes on the bigger prize in winning another NBA title.
