Steph Curry Fires Back, Has Some Very Particular Words For LeBron James

Last week, LeBron James made some comments about Steph Curry. While he did say he was deserving of the MVP award, he questioned the definition of “value” and what it means to be the MVP. Essentially, he believes there may be a difference between the MVP and the best player in the league.

Here’s what he had to say:

“I think sometimes the word ‘valuable’ or best player of the year, you can have different results. You know, that’s not taking anything from anyone that’s ever won the award. When you talk about most ‘valuable’ then you can have a different conversation, so, take nothing away from him, he’s definitely deserving of that award, for sure.”

It seems LeBron James is sending mixed messages. He’s clearly the “king” of making passive-aggressive comments, and this is just another example.

After hearing the comments, Steph Curry responded by saying this:

“I’ve gotten really good at ignoring people. That is the theme of the last two years.”

If you’re the best player in the world, you’re going to have to learn to ignore some people. What Curry is doing right now can not be argued, though. He’s clearly the best player in the world and well deserving of the MVP award. LeBron may just be a little salty right now after Curry has won back-to-back awards as the best player in the game.
