This MMA Superstar Could Make Their Return To WWE

Over the years, the WWE has been known to go outside the box for matches and appearances at WrestleMania. The event that has featured many great athletes in other major sports such as Karl Malone, Mike Tyson, and Muhammad Ali. The company is also hoping that the recent announcement of Brock Lesnar doing a “one-off opportunity” at UFC 200 could lead to a familiar face returning for match at Wrestlemania 33, according to Forbes.com:

“WWE is also hopeful that they will be allowed to use Ronda Rousey at ‘WrestleMania 33′ in Orlando, Florida. While her in-ring segment at ‘WrestleMania 31′ with ‘The Rock’, Stephanie McMahon and Triple H was a memorable moment, WWE is hoping they can secure Rousey for an actual match at their biggest event of the year.

Although Rousey is still physically and mentally recovering from her loss to Holly Holm last year, she’s expected to make a return to the octagon sometime later this year. This would give the 29-year-old plenty of time to prepare for a match in the event that will take place on April 2, 2017. If she is allowed to participate, there’s no reason to believe that she won’t accept that offer.
Rousey already has an opponent lined up in Stephenie Mcmahon as the UFC star put her in an armbar during her appearance at WrestleMania 31. She could also be featured in a tag team match alongside The Rock against McMahon and Triple H. The possibilities here are endless.
