This NBA Player Believes LeBron James Will Bolt Cavaliers In The Summer

This upcoming offseason for the NBA it’s expected to be largely focused on Kevin Durant’s future as will become an unrestricted free agent for the first time in his career. However, there’s another elite player in LeBron James who can hit the free agent market if he elects to decline his player option for next season. This is something that another current NBA player is convinced the four-time league MVP will do next month and dash the Cleveland Cavaliers once again.

This isn’t a farfetched notion given that there have been cryptic tweets and questionable actions that James has done this season. Remember he worked out with Dwyane Wade at the Miami Heat’s practice facility in early March. He also stated he would entertain the idea of playing alongside Wade, Carmelo Anthony, and Chris Paul at some point in his career. This was an interesting comment given that he’s already playing alongside a pair of proven All-Stars in Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love who are both locked into lucrative long-term contracts with the Cavaliers.

All of this could simply be looking too deep into things, but James has a history of making monumental decisions with little notice. This can be exemplified by his sudden decision to leave the Heat two summers ago after four consecutive NBA Finals appearances while winning a pair of championships. That said, James is clearly motivated to end Cleveland’s 52-year professional sports championship drought. If he accomplishes that, things could suddenly become very interesting.
