Tim Duncan Comes Forward And Finally Opens Up About His Future After Being Eliminated

Tim Duncan is the greatest power forward to ever play the game. That’s just a fact. However, it’s no secret that he’s getting up there in age. As a matter of fact, he’s already 40. Now that he and his San Antonio Spurs have been eliminated by the OKC Thunder, Duncan has a decision to make.

After his season ended abruptly, he came forward and made an announcement to the press that he will decide about his retirement when he “gets out of here.” Assumedly, Duncan wishes to spend some time away from the Spurs facility and collect his thoughts after his team had so much success in the regular season but failed to make the Western Conference Finals again. We can’t really fault him there

It’s hard to see the big fella coming back for more. After winning five championships and laying everything out on the court in this, his 19th season, it doesn’t seem like there’s much left in the tank for Ol’ Timmy. Word has not been released yet on whether or not he will officially retire, but all signs point to him saying goodbye.
