Warriors Coach Steve Kerr Has Some Very Choice Words For This Particular Thunder Player After Game 1 Loss

Steve Kerr and the Golden State Warriors just lost Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals on their home court Monday night. The Oklahoma City Thunder were trailing by 13 at the half, but managed to come all the way back to knock off the “Dubs,” despite their stellar reputation of protecting home court. After the game, Kerr was asked about Russell Westbrook and he replied with some choice words of praise:

Kerr knows he has his hands full when it comes to guarding Westbrook. The triple-double machine was a major reason the Thunder were able to win the Game Monday night. They also need to figure out a way to slow superstar Kevin Durant. It’s a tall task for the regular season champs, but if anyone can do it, they can.

If the regular season is any indication, the Warriors will not lose Game 2, as they haven’t lost back-to-back games all season. Look for Steph Curry and company to bounce back in a major way on Wednesday night. They will likely have to get back to their dominant first half ways, but this time be sure to continue that momentum throughout the game. It will certainly be interesting to see how Westbrook responds if Curry does indeed have a great game.
