Well This Team Is Already Out Of The Kevin Durant Sweepstakes

The Oklahoma City Thunder saw their season come to a disappointing end. This has immediately shifted the attention toward Kevin Durant’s pending free agency. With that in mind, it appears one team is already out of the hunt for the former league MVP, according to Bruce Arthur of the Toronto Star.

In reality, the Raptors were never really seen as a realistic landing spot. The organization has failed to land even one premier free agent. In fact, Toronto has lost their last superstar in Chris Bosh via free agency to the Miami Heat several offseasons ago.

This leaves several other viable landing spots outside of the Oklahoma City Thunder such as the San Antonio Spurs, Golden State Warriors, Miami Heat, Boston Celtics, Los Angeles Lakers, Houston Rockets, and New York Knicks. Durant will undoubtedly be the big fish in this year’s free agent class. His decision will likely have a ripple effect on how the rest of the offseason pans out.
