Following a nearly three-year stint with NXT, Alexa Bliss finally made her debut on the main roster after the Brand Split draft in July. She has become one of the main women superstars on Smackdown Live that’s entrenched in the women’s title picture. In a recent interview with Cleveland.com, Bliss discussed her feelings about being called up the main roster.

“That was really, really cool. It got to show there are a lot of women in this division. Sometimes on Raw and SmackDown you only see two or three women in an episode. But we’re all into it and we’re going to be the leaders o this division.”

The 25-year-old has had to work herself into the position she is currently in with the WWE. She has had to prove herself worthy of being on this stage after a career in bodybuilding that included competing in the Arnold Classic and cheerleading in college at the Division I level. It has been a long path, but Bliss has a bright future ahead of her.

This could begin at No Mercy with a title shot against Becky Lynch, which could be her first championship reign with the company. She didn’t win the women’s belt during her tenure with NXT. It will be interesting to see how her career unfolds with the WWE.
