Julio Jones has become one of the most electrifying receivers in the NFL. After a dominant career with the Alabama Crimson Tide, including an undefeated National Championship season, Julio has racked up huge yardage and lots of touchdowns catching passes from Matt Ryan with the Atlanta Falcons. Now he’s entered an elite category that only 3 other receivers in NFL history can boast.

In a 48-33 romp against the Carolina Panthers, Julio Jones caught 12 balls that he took for 300 yards and a touchdown. That’s the fourth best single game performance in league history, and only the fourth time that a player has broken 300 receiving yards ever. The last time it happened was October 27th, 2013, when Calvin Johnson broke for 329 yards and a touchdown off of 14 catches in the Lions win over the Lions.

To find the other two, you have to go all the way back to the 80s. In 1985, Stephone Paige was the first player to break 300 when he logged 309 yards and two touchdowns for the Kansas City Chiefs when they beat the San Diego Chargers. In 1989, Flipper Anderson set a still unbeaten record when he grabbed 329 yards and a touchdown for the Los Angeles Rams when they beat the New Orleans Saints.
