Through his first few seasons in the NBA, the injury bug label has stuck with Washington Wizards guard Bradley Beal. It’s something that has become a part of his reputation. In a recent interview, Beal voiced his frustrations with this stigma that grown attached to him.

Although he may be trying to stay on the court as much as possible, injuries have certainly plagued him. In his first four seasons, he has played in 56, 73, 63, and 55 regular season games. It has cost Beal a sizable chunk of playing time on the court over that span.

Despite that, the Wizards hold a strong belief that he will get past those injury problems as they committed a max contract worth $127 million over the next five years. Beal plays a huge a part in both the team’s success and future being the backcourt partner with three-time All-Star John Wall. Ultimately, Washington needs more than anything for him to get past his injury problems from the past.
